Ontic has expanded its component maintenance partnership with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) through a series of agreements covering component repair, overhaul, spare parts and service centre support.
The agreements build on an existing five-year global repair and overhaul agreement that took effect in October 2025. The arrangement covers component maintenance across Ontic’s portfolio, supporting AFI KLM E&M’s internal maintenance operations and its airline customers worldwide.
The agreement encompasses Ontic-owned and licensed products installed on Boeing 777, Airbus A320 and A330, and Embraer aircraft. Through direct access to Ontic’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) expertise, AFI KLM E&M will benefit from technical support, genuine parts and specialised repair capabilities intended to improve component reliability and help reduce aircraft downtime.
Repairs will be performed at Ontic’s MRO facilities in Miramar, Florida, in the United States, and Tewkesbury, United Kingdom. The facilities are expected to strengthen regional support and responsiveness for component repair requirements across the partnership’s global network.
Jack Karapetyan, Senior Vice President of Global MRO at Ontic, said the expanded collaboration across repairs, spares and in-house service centre support represents an important step in the company’s global growth strategy. He added that Ontic aims to support AFI KLM E&M’s worldwide operations with OEM-backed solutions focused on reliability, efficiency and long-term value.

For the aviation aftermarket, the agreements highlight the importance of direct cooperation between component manufacturers and MRO providers. Access to OEM repair expertise and approved parts can help maintenance organisations support a broad range of aircraft components while managing repair requirements and turnaround times.
The expanded partnership also supports Ontic’s strategy of building direct relationships with airlines and MRO providers, combining component repair capabilities with technical expertise and regional service infrastructure.
