Jettime selects Fokker Services Group for 737NG component support

Fokker Services Group (FSG) has signed an ABACUS component support agreement with Jettime to support the airline’s Boeing 737 Next Generation (737NG) fleet. The agreement combines component exchange, in-house repair and on-site lease stock to improve parts availability, reduce aircraft downtime and support fleet reliability.

The partnership was formalised during MRO Europe in Amsterdam. Under the agreement, FSG will provide forward exchange services across a broad range of Boeing 737NG components, allowing Jettime to access replacement units when components are removed from service for maintenance or repair.

Integrated Component Support to Reduce Downtime

Components removed from Jettime’s aircraft will be repaired at FSG’s in-house component repair facilities, where the company will apply its technical capabilities and quality standards. The arrangement is intended to streamline the component maintenance process while helping the airline maintain aircraft availability.

The agreement also includes leasing services for selected components, with dedicated stock held at Jettime’s location. This on-site inventory will give maintenance teams faster access to essential replacement parts and help reduce delays associated with sourcing components externally.

Jettime Vice President Technical Nicolai Rønnow said the airline selected FSG based on its competitive pricing, European Union location, and component portfolio. He also highlighted FSG’s in-house repair capabilities, which cover approximately 80% of the components installed on the Boeing 737-800NG, as an advantage for the partnership.

ABACUS Programme Combines Repair, Exchange and Leasing

FSG CEO Menzo van der Beek said Jettime’s charter and aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) operations require responsive component support and reliable parts availability. He noted that combining forward exchange, in-house repairs and dedicated lease stock allows FSG to tailor its services to the airline’s operational requirements.

FSG’s ABACUS programme integrates component maintenance, inventory management, leasing and operational support into a customised solution for aircraft operators. By combining these services, the programme aims to improve component availability while giving airlines greater control over maintenance requirements and costs.

For the MRO sector, the agreement demonstrates how integrated component support can help airlines manage repair turnaround times and spare-parts requirements. The combination of exchange services, repair capabilities, and locally positioned lease stock can reduce the time aircraft spend awaiting replacement components, supporting more efficient maintenance planning and fleet operations.
