Embraer has expanded its component support agreements with Lufthansa Group carriers Austrian Airlines and Air Dolomiti, providing access to repair, overhaul, and exchange services for their Embraer E-Jets fleets. The agreements cover 13 E195 aircraft operated by Austrian Airlines and 30 E-Jets operated by Air Dolomiti, strengthening aftermarket support for a combined fleet of 43 aircraft.
Both agreements provide access to Embraer’s Component Pool Program, which covers more than 300 aircraft components across multiple systems. The program is designed to improve aircraft availability, simplify spare-parts management and help airlines control component maintenance costs.
Component Pooling to support fleet availability
Through the agreements, both airlines will benefit from component inventory access and advanced exchange, repair, and overhaul services. The arrangement allows operators to draw on Embraer’s support network rather than relying solely on their own inventories, helping reduce warehousing requirements and the costs associated with holding spare components.
Component pooling can also support maintenance planning by improving access to replacement parts when components require repair or overhaul. Embraer’s program operates under guaranteed performance levels, with the aim of providing more predictable support and reducing the risk of maintenance delays linked to component availability.
Carlos Naufel, president and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, said the program combines inventory access, repair capabilities and technical expertise to maximise aircraft availability and reduce maintenance-related costs.

Air Dolomiti agreement supports fleet expansion
The agreement with Air Dolomiti covers its fleet of 30 E-Jets as the Lufthansa Group carrier continues to develop its operations. Air Dolomiti CEO Steffen Harbarth welcomed the expanded collaboration, describing Embraer as a longstanding partner supporting the airline’s growth.
For Austrian Airlines, the agreement provides component support for its 13-aircraft E195 fleet, helping the carrier manage the maintenance requirements of its regional aircraft.

Strengthening Embraer’s aftermarket network
The agreements highlight the role of component pooling in supporting airline operations and improving maintenance efficiency. By combining shared inventory with repair, overhaul and exchange services, Embraer aims to reduce the logistical burden on operators while supporting the continued serviceability of its aircraft.
For the MRO sector, the arrangements reinforce demand for integrated component support solutions as airlines seek to maintain fleet availability, manage spare-parts costs and sustain regional aircraft operations.
