StandardAero has expanded its airframe maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities at its Van Nuys, California facility to support select Bombardier Global business jet models, strengthening its offering for large-cabin business aviation operators.
The company’s Van Nuys facility, which has more than 25 years of experience supporting Gulfstream operators, has added airframe inspection, repair, structures and avionics capabilities for the Bombardier Global Express, Global Express XRS, Global 5000, Global 6000 and Global 7500 aircraft.
The global Bombardier Global fleet comprises more than 1,200 delivered aircraft, including more than 600 operating in North America.
“Expanding our service offering by adding another large-cabin aircraft with the Global family allows us to build on our existing expertise while investing in our team and tooling,” said Giovanni Spitale, President of StandardAero Business Aviation.
StandardAero has already begun supporting Global operators at Van Nuys, providing inspections and repairs, as well as SpaceX Starlink installations on Global 5000 aircraft. The facility also provides BR710 engine line maintenance and support for a multi-aircraft Global fleet operator.
StandardAero is a Rolls-Royce-authorized service center for BR710 engines, which power most aircraft in the Global family. BR710 line maintenance is available at Van Nuys and through the company’s Mobile Service Team for in-field support.

“With airframe, avionics, engine, structures and interior capabilities all under one roof and across our network, we’re continuing to build that CompleteCare, comprehensive support solution for Global operators,” said Roland Scensnovic, Vice President and General Manager of StandardAero’s Van Nuys facility.
The Van Nuys facility operates under FAA, EASA, AFAC and TCCA approvals and is located at Van Nuys Airport, one of the world’s busiest business aviation airports.
In addition to Van Nuys, StandardAero provides maintenance and modification support for Bombardier Global aircraft at its Springfield, Illinois facility. The site also offers FAA Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) and engineering services.
The expansion further strengthens StandardAero’s ability to provide integrated airframe, engine, avionics, structures and interior support for Bombardier Global operators across its business aviation network.
