ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace business and Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, have signed three multi-year agreements to expand component support for airline operators and strengthen their longstanding collaboration.
The agreements cover new component repair services, expanded spare parts procurement and continued lifecycle repair support. By combining Collins Aerospace’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) expertise with ST Engineering’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities, the companies aim to provide airlines with faster component repairs and improved aircraft dispatch reliability.
Under the first agreement, ST Engineering will provide repair services for Collins Aerospace fan assembly electronics boards installed on Boeing 787 aircraft. The collaboration is expected to reduce Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) repair turnaround times by enabling repair-over-replacement solutions for airlines and operators.
The second agreement expands ST Engineering’s existing multi-platform arrangement to procure new Power & Controls spare parts from Collins Aerospace for its LRU component MRO operations. The expanded scope adds more narrowbody aircraft components to ST Engineering’s portfolio, supporting OEM-standard repair services.

The companies have also extended their collaboration on LRU component repairs for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft through Collins Aerospace’s FlightSense aftermarket support programme.
The expanded agreements will support ST Engineering’s Maintenance-By-the-Hour programme, in-house component MRO capabilities for aircraft including the 787, 737 MAX and A320neo, as well as its distribution and material services.
According to ST Engineering, the broader collaboration will provide airline customers with expanded repair coverage, component availability and lifecycle support. Collins Aerospace said the programmes are intended to provide operators with responsive MRO solutions while improving component efficiency and fleet performance.
