Safran Landing Systems signs five-year support agreement with AFKLCSS

Safran Landing Systems has signed a five-year Service Support Agreement with Air France KLM Component Services (Shanghai) (AFKLCSS), strengthening OEM support for the company’s component maintenance activities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Under the agreement, AFKLCSS will receive OEM support from Safran Landing Systems for braking and steering avionics equipment installed on Airbus A320-family and A330 aircraft.

The agreement provides AFKLCSS with access to a range of Safran’s technical and engineering resources, including technical publications, engineering support, repair concessions, traceability data and training services.

The partnership brings together Safran Landing Systems’ OEM expertise with AFKLCSS’s local component MRO capabilities in Shanghai. Access to OEM technical information, engineering support and training is expected to support AFKLCSS in maintaining the required standards for component repair and servicing while strengthening operational support for aircraft operators in the region.
