AAR’s Component MRO facility in Chonburi, Thailand, has been designated an Authorized Repair Station for SAM GmbH, expanding its capability to provide hydraulic and electromechanical component repair services to customers across the Asia-Pacific region.
The agreement marks Thailand as the third AAR Component MRO facility authorised to support SAM products, joining AAR’s existing authorised locations in Wellington, New Zealand, and Grand Prairie, Texas.
The new authorization is expected to strengthen regional access to specialised component repair capabilities and support operators across Asia with locally available maintenance services.
“The addition of AAR’s Component MRO – Thailand facility as an Authorized Repair Station reflects our commitment to growing support where our customers need it,” said Rahul Shah, Interim General Manager of AAR’s Component MRO – Thailand facility. “With SAM, we are excited to expand access to specialised hydraulic component repair capabilities and strengthen our ability to serve operators throughout Asia and beyond.”
Marc Hieble, Chief Executive Officer, SAM GmbH, said the company was pleased to expand its relationship with AAR and welcome the Chonburi facility into SAM’s global network of Authorized Repair Stations.
According to Hieble, the expanded regional support network will provide customers with greater access to hydraulic component repair services, while maintaining SAM’s technical and quality standards.
