Pursuit Aerospace expands casting capabilities with UK acquisition and Tunisia Investment

Pursuit Aerospace is expanding its aerospace casting capabilities by acquiring UK-based Creasey Castings Limited and significantly expanding its manufacturing operations in Tunis, Tunisia, strengthening its capacity to serve global aerospace and defence customers.

Pursuit Aerospace completed the acquisition of Creasey Castings on August 11, 2026, marking its sixth acquisition since 2023. The UK-based company specialises in sandcasting and has more than 35 years of experience producing high-precision magnesium and aluminium castings for demanding applications.

Located next to Pursuit’s existing sandcasting foundry in Sittingbourne, Creasey Castings adds manufacturing capacity, an experienced workforce and broader alloy capabilities. Its operations also include in-house simulation, heat treatment and non-destructive testing (NDT), expanding the combined site’s technical capabilities.

Pursuit plans to integrate Creasey Castings into its existing Sittingbourne operations, with further investments intended to strengthen production capabilities and improve support for its global aerospace and defence customer base. The acquisition comes amid constrained availability of aerospace magnesium sandcasting capacity.

Tunisia Expansion to Increase Casting Capacity by 40%

Alongside the UK acquisition, Pursuit Aerospace began a significant expansion of its casting operations in Tunis on September 3, 2026. The project involves adding a third building to the existing facility, increasing its total floor space by 40%.

Upon completion, the Tunis operation is expected to cover more than 140,000 square feet and employ over 1,000 people. The facility specialises in nickel- and cobalt-based investment castings for leading aero-engine manufacturers.

The expansion will add furnace and shell-line capacity, enabling Pursuit to accommodate additional customer requirements and new production programmes. The additional space will also support the integration of more post-casting machining and special processing activities in-house, advancing the company’s vertical integration strategy.

Pursuit expects to complete the Tunis expansion in the second half of 2027. The investment is intended to optimise the facility’s footprint and establish the operation as a centre of excellence for aerospace casting.

“These actions significantly increase our investment and sandcasting capacity and add new capabilities to our casting operations,” said Ben Adams, President and Chief Commercial Officer of Pursuit Aerospace.

The combined investments reflect Pursuit Aerospace’s strategy to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen specialised casting capabilities and support the evolving requirements of aerospace and defence customers worldwide.
