Piaggio Aerospace has appointed Florida-based Unipak Aviation as its US warehouse and manufacturing partner, strengthening parts availability and aftermarket support for P.180 customers.
Under the new partnership, Unipak Aviation will provide dedicated US warehousing for Piaggio Aerospace parts while also manufacturing selected components for the company. Combining local component production with parts storage is intended to improve supply-chain responsiveness and support customers across the US.
The new warehouse capability gives Piaggio Aerospace a local distribution point for P.180 parts, potentially reducing logistics lead times and improving the availability of components required for aircraft maintenance and repairs.

The partnership also adds a local manufacturing capability to Piaggio Aerospace’s US support structure. Producing selected components closer to the customer base can provide greater flexibility in meeting aftermarket requirements while complementing the company’s wider supply network.
Tamer Tüfekci, General Manager Aftermarket at Piaggio Aerospace, said the partnership will strengthen the company’s customer support infrastructure.
“Establishing a dedicated warehouse presence in the United States is an important milestone in strengthening our supply chain and customer support capabilities in the United States,” said Tüfekci. “Our partnership with Unipak will bring us closer to our customers, improve our responsiveness, and represents an important step in the continued development of our presence in the US.”
