CPaT secures training contract with Ghana’s PassionAir

CPaT Global has secured a training contract with Ghanaian domestic airline PassionAir to provide aircraft systems training for its De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q300 and Q400 fleet.

Under the agreement, PassionAir will also use CPaT’s General Subjects training library and CPaT Invent courseware development tools to support its crew training programmes.

The aircraft systems courses will support training across PassionAir’s Dash 8 fleet, while the general training library and course development tools will allow the airline’s training team to manage broader operational training requirements.

Capt. Greg Darrow, CPaT’s Vice President of Sales, said the company would provide training content across the airline’s Dash 8 fleet and wider operations.

Capt. Sydney Ribeiro, Director of Flight Operations at PassionAir, said the airline selected CPaT for the depth of its training content and the flexibility of its solutions. He added that the partnership would help deliver consistent training as PassionAir continues to develop its operations across Ghana.

For the MRO and aviation training sector, the agreement highlights the role of digital training resources in supporting crew knowledge and fleet-specific systems familiarisation. Although the contract focuses on training rather than maintenance services, aircraft systems instruction can complement the technical knowledge needed to operate and support the Dash 8 fleet.
