Piaggio Aerospace sells two P.180 Avanti EVOs in Türkiye

Piaggio Aerospace has sold two P.180 Avanti EVO aircraft to a Turkish operator, adding to the presence of the aircraft type in the Turkish business aviation market.

The two aircraft will join the operator’s existing business jet and helicopter fleet. The sale adds another customer for the P.180 Avanti EVO, which entered service in its current EVO configuration after further development of the P.180 platform.

The P.180 Avanti EVO incorporates updated technology and systems while retaining the platform’s twin-engine turboprop configuration and distinctive pusher-propeller layout.

The aircraft has been operated across business aviation and other specialised missions since the first P.180 Avanti EVO was delivered to an operator in 2015.

“This agreement is another important step for Piaggio Aerospace and for the P.180 Avanti EVO,” said Cristian Toninelli, CEO of Piaggio Aerospace. “We are pleased to welcome another Turkish operator to the growing community of P.180 customers and to see continued interest in an aircraft that has demonstrated its value across a broad range of markets.”

Piaggio Aerospace said it will provide support to the Turkish operator throughout the aircraft’s operational life.

The company is also developing the P.180 Avanti NX, with the first orders already received and further interest from prospective customers.

The two aircraft add to the installed base of P.180 Avanti aircraft in Türkiye, supporting the requirement for continuing airworthiness, scheduled maintenance, component support and spare parts as the aircraft enter service.
