Embraer and Alliance Airlines have renewed their Component Support Agreement to strengthen the reliability, availability, and maintenance support of Australia’s largest Embraer E190 fleet. The agreement provides the Australian operator with a cost-effective component repair solution designed to optimise maintenance expenditure and support continued fleet operations.
Alliance Airlines has operated the E190 since 2021, using the aircraft to support regional connectivity and charter services. The renewed agreement reinforces the partnership between the airline and Embraer, with a focus on maintaining aircraft performance and ensuring access to component repair support.
“Alliance Airlines’ E-Jets have been instrumental in enhancing Australia’s regional connectivity,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support. “As the airline grows, we remain committed to providing the maintenance solutions, expertise and support needed to keep the E190s performing at the highest levels every day.”
Component support agreements play an important role in aircraft maintenance by providing operators with access to repair services and technical expertise for aircraft components. Such arrangements can help manage maintenance costs, reduce the operational impact of component failures and support aircraft availability by facilitating the repair and return of serviceable equipment.
Australia remains an important market for Embraer in the Asia-Pacific region. Since delivering its first aircraft to the country in 1978, the manufacturer has expanded its presence across the Australian aviation sector. Today, close to 70 Embraer E-Jets are operated by six Australian operators, serving regional routes and supporting fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) operations for the mining and resources industries.

Embraer’s services and support network provides maintenance solutions and technical expertise to support E-Jet operators across Australia. The renewed agreement with Alliance Airlines further strengthens the manufacturer’s aftermarket relationship with the airline as demand for reliable regional aircraft operations continues.
For the MRO sector, the agreement highlights the role of OEM-backed component repair support in managing fleet reliability and maintenance costs, particularly in regional aviation operations where aircraft availability is essential to maintaining scheduled services and specialised charter missions.
