Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) has completed the redelivery of the fifth and final Airbus A330-200P2F freighter to EgyptAir Cargo under its current conversion agreement, marking another milestone in the companies’ nearly three-decade partnership.
EgyptAir was the launch customer for the A330-200P2F programme, with the first converted aircraft delivered in 2018. With the latest delivery, EFW has now redelivered nine Airbus widebody freighters to EgyptAir Cargo across different Airbus aircraft generations, all converted at EFW’s facilities in Dresden, Germany.
The completed programme reflects the continued expansion of EgyptAir Cargo’s widebody freighter capabilities as demand for efficient air cargo capacity grows.
EFW SVP Sales & Marketing Dr Lee London said the completion of the project highlights the longstanding relationship between the two companies and their cooperation on the A330-200P2F programme.
