Condor has completed the fleet-wide implementation of Swiss-AS’ AMOSeTL electronic tech log, moving its technical log process from paper to a fully digital workflow within AMOS.
The German airline went live with AMOSeTL across its approximately 60-aircraft fleet in July 2026. The fleet includes Airbus A330neo and A320-family aircraft.
Condor is using all three AMOSeTL modes — PILOT, CABIN and MAINT — connecting cockpit crews, cabin crew and internal and external maintenance teams through a single digital tech-log process.
The solution connects directly to AMOS, allowing tech-log entries and reported defects to transfer into the airline’s maintenance system. This gives maintenance control and maintenance teams access to technical information without relying on paper-based handovers.
Condor began preparing for the transition in December 2025, when all aircraft were equipped with AMOSeTL and connected to the AMOS production environment.
Selected users then conducted digital tech-log flights while the electronic and paper processes ran in parallel. This allowed pilots, cabin crew and mechanics to gain practical experience with the system under normal operating conditions before the full transition.
Condor also introduced mandatory training for users, achieving 100 per cent completion among pilots, cabin crew and mechanics by the end of June 2026.
“The successful completion of Condor’s fleet-wide AMOSeTL implementation is an important milestone in its ongoing digitalisation journey. Moving a process as operationally critical as the tech log from paper to digital across an entire fleet requires careful coordination and commitment from teams across the organisation,” said Gavin Gronert, Business Consultant at Swiss-AS.
“Condor’s successful go-live demonstrates what can be achieved when technology, operational requirements and user needs are brought together from the outset,” he added.
Sandra Volk, Director Airworthiness / NPCA at Condor, said, “Going live with AMOSeTL across the entire Condor fleet marks an important step in the digitalization of our technical operations. Moving from a paper-based tech log to one integrated digital process creates a consistent workflow across our operational and maintenance teams.”
“Thanks to thorough preparation, extensive training and the strong commitment of everyone involved, we were able to make this transition successfully across the entire fleet,” Volk added.

The implementation expands Condor’s use of digital maintenance processes by linking electronic tech-log information directly with its existing AMOS maintenance environment.
For maintenance teams, the digital workflow provides a direct flow of defect and technical information from aircraft operations into the maintenance system, supporting coordination between flight crews, maintenance control and maintenance personnel.
