CFS Aero has selected Ramco Aviation Software to digitally transform its engine and auxiliary power unit (APU) MRO operations, strengthening its capabilities with an integrated platform that delivers end-to-end operational and financial visibility.
Under the agreement, Ramco Systems will implement its next-generation Ramco Aviation Software across CFS Aero’s engine and APU maintenance business, providing a unified digital solution to manage the complete MRO lifecycle from contract initiation through to final invoicing and revenue realisation.
The implementation is aimed at supporting CFS Aero’s long-term digital transformation strategy by streamlining maintenance workflows, improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer service across its growing MRO operations.
The platform will integrate key business functions, including Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, Customer and Commercial Management, and Accounting, enabling seamless management of engine and APU shop visits through a single digital ecosystem.
In addition to improving operational workflows, Ramco’s solution will provide real-time visibility into project costs and revenues through features such as cost accrual tracking, budget monitoring, and multi-stage invoicing. The software will also support comprehensive configuration lifecycle management with as-built records, service bulletin and airworthiness directive tracking, automated engine condition monitoring, and mobile-enabled digital maintenance execution with electronic task cards and sign-offs.
These capabilities are expected to help CFS Aero improve productivity, support paperless maintenance operations and strengthen regulatory compliance across its engine and APU MRO business.
David Newhouse, Chief Executive Officer of CFS Aero, said the company selected Ramco based on its aviation expertise and ability to support future business growth.
“As we planned for the next phase of our growth, we were looking for a technology partner that could support our long-term vision, complement the expertise of our people, and evolve alongside our business. Ramco’s strong understanding of the complexities of Engine and APU MRO operations, combined with the capabilities of its Aviation Software to help our skilled teams perform at their best, were key factors in our decision. We believe this partnership will empower our people to continue delivering the levels of service and innovation that our customers have come to expect from us.”
