Nermine has joined Azorra as Vice President – Technical, bringing experience in aircraft technical asset management, engineering, aircraft transitions, and engine shop visit oversight.
Nermine joined Azorra in September 2026 as Vice President – Technical, following a role as Vice President, Technical Asset Management at Air Lease Corporation (ALC) and Sumisho Corporation.
At ALC and Sumisho, she was involved across several areas of aircraft technical and asset management, including lease origination and negotiations, new aircraft deliveries, aircraft transitions, and engineering project management. Her responsibilities also included overseeing engine shop visits, cost control, and aircraft asset valuation.
Her experience covers both the technical and commercial aspects of aircraft lifecycle management, including supporting aircraft through delivery, transition, and maintenance events.
Before joining ALC, Nermine founded and co-owned NES Aviation, an aircraft asset and technical management company. She also held positions with several airlines and the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, giving her experience across airline technical operations and aviation regulation.

In her new role at Azorra, Nermine will contribute to the lessor’s technical activities, drawing on her background in aircraft engineering, maintenance management, and asset oversight.
Nermine holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cairo University and is fluent in Arabic and French.
