AMAC Aerospace completes line maintenance on multiple Dassault Falcon aircraft

AMAC Aerospace Turkey has completed line maintenance on several Dassault Falcon aircraft at its Istanbul facility, covering scheduled inspections, database updates, troubleshooting, component replacement, and storage-related maintenance.

The work included two Falcon 7X aircraft that underwent two-month inspections. Both aircraft received database updates, while one also underwent an auxiliary power unit (APU) exhaust muffler inspection, engine and APU oil-level checks, and servicing.

Technicians also investigated a tire-pressure sensor fault on one of the Falcon 7X aircraft. The inspection identified a faulty component, which was replaced.

The second Falcon 7X underwent non-flying-period storage tasks in addition to its scheduled inspection.

Falcon 6X and Falcon 2000EX EASy Maintenance

A Dassault Falcon 6X also underwent a two-month inspection at the Istanbul facility.

AMAC Aerospace additionally performed line maintenance on a Falcon 2000EX EASy. The work included lubrication of the landing gear doors, a pneumatic-starter oil-level check, and a functional test of the DC generator system.

The aircraft also received a replacement fuel quantity management computer (FQMC) and a second main battery.

Falcon 8X Database and System Maintenance

Two Dassault Falcon 8X aircraft arrived at the facility for periodic database upgrades and head-up display (HUD) updates.

Additional maintenance on one of the aircraft included a quick access recorder download, an APU soap check, high-frequency coupler pressure servicing, and replacement of the engine fuel filter.

These tasks added to the scheduled software and avionics-related work carried out during the aircraft’s maintenance input.

Additional Falcon 7X and 2000 Work

Another Falcon 7X, operated by a new customer, underwent lubrication of the flap actuator screws across the system.

A Falcon 2000 belonging to a long-term customer was also brought in for slat replacement.

The maintenance inputs covered several areas of business-jet line maintenance, including periodic inspections, lubrication, fluid servicing, avionics and database updates, component troubleshooting and replacement, engine-related servicing and landing gear work.

The projects demonstrate the range of Falcon maintenance carried out at AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s Istanbul facility, supporting both scheduled inspection requirements and defects identified during maintenance.
