Airline Support Baltic secures new aviation maintenance approvals in three markets

SIA Airline Support Baltic, a Latvia-based maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider, has secured new regulatory approvals from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Announced on September 21, 2026, the approvals are expected to create opportunities for the company to attract customers from the three markets and expand its international customer base.

Regulatory approvals from national aviation authorities allow maintenance organisations to demonstrate compliance with the applicable requirements for performing approved maintenance activities. Such authorisations can help MRO providers serve aircraft operators and customers in additional jurisdictions, subject to the scope and conditions of each approval.

For Airline Support Baltic, the latest approvals represent a step towards expanding its presence beyond its existing markets and pursuing new business opportunities in North America, South Asia and Africa.
