BBAM has completed the final close of Incline Aviation III, its third flagship aviation investment fund, securing more than $1.7 billion in capital commitments from existing and new institutional investors.
The fund will target investment opportunities across commercial aircraft, engines, and aviation-related credit, continuing the strategy established through BBAM’s previous Incline Aviation funds. The capital is expected to support further transactions across the global aviation investment and leasing market.
As of June 2026, Incline Aviation III had invested or committed more than $625 million in equity, representing approximately 37% of its final capital commitments. This indicates that a substantial portion of the fund’s capital had already been allocated or earmarked before the final close.

Incline Aviation III surpasses the fundraising totals of its predecessors. Incline Aviation I raised $1.2 billion, including affiliated co-investment, while Incline Aviation II secured $1.5 billion. The latest fund marks an expansion in BBAM’s investment capacity as demand for aircraft and engine financing continues across the aviation sector.
BBAM manages a portfolio of more than 500 aircraft serving over 100 airline customers in more than 50 countries. Its core activities include aircraft investment, leasing, financing and asset management.
The successful close strengthens BBAM’s capacity to pursue aircraft and engine acquisitions, financing opportunities and other aviation-related investments. For the aftermarket, continued investment in aircraft and engines can also influence asset trading, leasing activity and the availability of aircraft and engine assets throughout their operational lifecycles.
