KLM UK Engineering has extended and expanded its maintenance partnership with Jet2.com following what the companies described as an outstanding 2025/26 winter maintenance season.
Under the new three-year agreement, Jet2.com will operate two winter maintenance lines annually at KLM UK Engineering’s headquarters at Norwich Airport, strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two companies.
The agreement follows the completion of the 2025/26 winter season, during which Jet2.com recognised KLM UK Engineering for its performance across the programme’s key performance metrics. The companies said KLM UK Engineering achieved the highest scores across the measures assessed by Jet2.com.
The renewed agreement was signed at KLM UK Engineering’s Norwich facility in the presence of ‘ELSIE’, the aircraft donated by Jet2.com in 2017 for use within KLM UK Engineering’s technical training Emulation Zone.

Three-year maintenance agreement
The expanded arrangement provides KLM UK Engineering with a three-year programme of winter maintenance work while enabling Jet2.com to continue using the Norwich-based MRO provider for its seasonal maintenance requirements.
Wayne Easlea, Managing Director, KLM UK Engineering, said the new agreement reflected the expertise and commitment of the company’s workforce and the recognition received from Jet2.com following the winter season.
“We are incredibly proud of the recognition received from Jet2, and we’re delighted to secure this new three-year agreement,” said Easlea. “It’s a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the hard work, expertise and commitment of our people.”
Chris Hubbard, Director of Engineering, Jet2.com, said the airline looked forward to the next chapter of its partnership with KLM UK Engineering, highlighting the strong relationship between the two organisations and their shared commitment to maintaining high standards.
The latest agreement further strengthens KLM UK Engineering’s position as a maintenance partner for Jet2.com, while providing a defined winter maintenance programme at its Norwich facility for the next three years.
