Shohin Airlines has expanded its fleet with the addition of an L 410 NG regional aircraft, marking the airline’s entry into fixed-wing passenger operations.
Until now, the airline’s fleet has comprised helicopters. The arrival of the L 410 NG represents a new phase in Shohin Airlines’ development as it looks to establish fixed-wing passenger services and expand regional air connectivity.
The aircraft is designed for regional operations and can operate across a range of conditions, including routes in mountainous terrain. Its addition is expected to support the airline’s plans to expand its route network and introduce new regional passenger services.
The L 410 NG, developed by Czech aircraft manufacturer LET Aircraft Industries, is the latest version of the L 410 regional aircraft. It can accommodate up to 19 passengers and features improvements in operational performance, fuel efficiency, and flight range.
According to Shohin Airlines, the aircraft will provide a platform for expanding its regional passenger transportation capabilities and developing domestic air connectivity.
Zafar Ahmadzoda, CEO of Shohin Airlines, said the arrival of the L 410 NG represents an important step in implementing the company’s development strategy.
