Milestone Aviation Group has sold three Airbus H225 helicopters to Austria-based operator Kitz-Air, expanding the company’s heavy-lift helicopter fleet and supporting its plans to enter aerial firefighting operations.
The three H225s were delivered to Kitz-Air in July 2026 and will undergo modification and conversion work in Europe before entering service. The helicopters are planned for aerial firefighting missions across Europe and South America, where demand for firefighting aircraft is increasing amid longer and more challenging wildfire seasons.

The aircraft conversions will be carried out by Global Helicopter Services (GHS), a long-standing Milestone customer and partner.
The transaction is Kitz-Air’s first aircraft acquisition from Milestone and establishes a new commercial relationship between the two companies.
