The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has further strengthened its position as a key aviation and MRO hub with the inauguration of a new Painting & Grinding Center by Lufthansa Technik Middle East. The development marks a strategic expansion of technical capabilities in the region, reinforcing both organisations’ commitment to advancing high-value maintenance services in the Middle East.
The newly inaugurated facility has been specifically designed to support component painting and grinding processes critical to structural and composite repairs. By incorporating advanced systems that enable faster curing and drying cycles, the centre is expected to significantly enhance repair efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and improve overall service delivery for airline customers operating across the region and beyond.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior leadership from both organisations, including Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Ziad Al Hazmi, CEO of Lufthansa Technik Middle East, underlining the strategic importance of the facility within Dubai’s broader aviation growth framework.
