Former Prometheus Group CFO brings more than two decades of technology and financial leadership to iBase-t
iBase-t, a provider of digital manufacturing and sustainment software for the aerospace and defence sector, has appointed Michael Ives to its Board of Directors as the company looks to expand its technology portfolio and support the digital transformation of complex manufacturing operations.
Ives brings more than 20 years of experience working with growth-oriented technology and industrial software businesses. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Prometheus Group, where he helped drive more than 10x growth in revenue.
His experience in financial strategy, business growth and working with private equity and management teams is expected to support iBase-t as it expands its customer base and strengthens its software capabilities for aerospace and defence manufacturers.
Ives said his decision to join the board was influenced by iBase-t’s specialised industry expertise and its focus on developing software specifically for aerospace and defence manufacturing.
He highlighted the company’s Solumina AI solution as an example of how its deep understanding of the sector can be combined with emerging technologies to address the needs of aerospace and defence customers.
iBase-t CEO Naveen Poonian said Ives’ experience scaling high-growth software businesses and building financial and investor relationships would strengthen the company at a time when it is expanding its platform and customer base.
