Deucalion Aviation has expanded its managed aircraft portfolio by adding two Airbus A330-300 widebody aircraft currently leased to Turkish Airlines.
The transaction was arranged and serviced by Deucalion on behalf of institutional investors, although financial terms were not disclosed.
The aircraft, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent engines, were sourced through Deucalion’s global acquisition network and align with the company’s strategy of investing in mid- to end-of-life widebody assets on lease. The deal also strengthens the lessor’s existing partnership with Turkish Airlines, one of Europe’s largest carriers, while expanding Deucalion’s Airbus A330 portfolio amid continued demand for widebody aircraft driven by fleet shortages and resilient long-haul travel demand.
Nate Riggs, Chief Commercial Officer of Deucalion Aviation, said the acquisition further reinforces the company’s long-standing relationship with Turkish Airlines and highlights the strength of its partnerships with leading global carriers.
He added that Turkish Airlines continues to operate a world-class network with a clear long-term fleet strategy, and noted that Deucalion remains committed to supporting the airline with flexible widebody capacity solutions. Riggs also emphasized that the company’s relationship-driven sourcing model remains central to delivering value for its institutional capital partners.
The latest acquisition further positions Deucalion Aviation to capitalize on sustained global demand for leased widebody aircraft as airlines continue to manage fleet availability constraints and growing international traffic recovery.
