BeauTech appoints Francesco Baccarani as APAC Asset Management Director

BeauTech Power Systems has appointed Francesco Baccarani as Director, Asset Management – APAC, reinforcing its engine leasing and asset management capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region.

Baccarani will support BeauTech’s engine leasing and asset management activities throughout the region, working closely with airlines, lessors, customers and industry partners while providing technical expertise to support the company’s growing portfolio.

Baccarani brings more than 20 years of experience in aviation and powerplant management. He joins BeauTech from SGI Aviation, where he served as Vice President, Technical Engines, overseeing engine asset management, shop visit planning, engine redeliveries, technical due diligence, pre-purchase inspections and fleet support for airlines and lessors.

During his career, he has gained experience across a range of commercial aircraft engine platforms, including the Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM56, V2500, CF6-80 and CF34 engine families. Earlier roles at IASG and Volare Airlines focused on engine troubleshooting, condition monitoring and maintenance management.

Commenting on the appointment, Carl Kelley, CTO at BeauTech, said Baccarani’s experience would further strengthen the company’s technical capabilities.

“Francesco has built an outstanding reputation in the industry through his expertise in engine asset management and technical oversight. His experience across engine transitions, shop visits, maintenance planning and fleet support will add significant value to our customers and further strengthen BeauTech’s technical capabilities as we continue to grow our engine platform,” Kelley said.

Baccarani said the appointment comes at a time when the aviation industry continues to face challenges related to engine availability and maintenance capacity.
