Magnetic Training has introduced Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) training, expanding its courses beyond aircraft type training to support personnel responsible for continuing airworthiness.
The first course was delivered fully online in August 2026, with 17 participants from an African operator completing the programme. The online format removes travel requirements and allows operators to access the training regardless of location.
CAMO functions are central to maintaining aircraft airworthiness throughout their operational lives. They involve coordinating maintenance requirements, monitoring aircraft condition and records, and ensuring compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements.
The new course broadens Magnetic Training’s offering to include personnel involved in airworthiness management alongside technical staff. The addition also gives operators another training option for developing the expertise needed to manage continuing airworthiness responsibilities.
Ene Krinpus, Managing Director at Magnetic Training and Magnetic Engineering, said the course responds to demand from customers and the wider market.

Steffi Sikmann, Sales Representative at Magnetic Training, added that specialised courses allow the company to address more specific customer requirements and support the wider organisations responsible for continuing airworthiness.
The launch reflects the role of specialist training in supporting aviation maintenance and compliance functions beyond hands-on technical work. By making CAMO training available online, Magnetic Training aims to improve access to continuing airworthiness education for international operators.
