Ontic has acquired Aero-Mach Companies, a Wichita-based aerospace business comprising Aero-Mach Labs, Aero-Mach Wilco and Aero-Mach TCO, expanding its portfolio of specialist manufacturing, repair and overhaul and aftermarket distribution capabilities.
Aero-Mach brings more than 50 years of aviation experience to Ontic, along with established customer relationships and expertise across aerospace manufacturing, technical services and parts distribution.
The acquisition adds three complementary businesses to Ontic’s portfolio. Aero-Mach Labs provides aerospace manufacturing, technical services and repair and overhaul capabilities, while Aero-Mach Wilco specialises in the distribution of aviation parts and products. Aero-Mach TCO designs and manufactures aircraft static dischargers for piston and turbine aircraft.
Aero-Mach also has experience transitioning and supporting aerospace product lines in collaboration with OEMs. The capability aligns with Ontic’s business model of acquiring established aerospace products and providing long-term support for operators and customers.

JC Gallagher, CEO of Ontic, said Aero-Mach’s specialist capabilities, customer relationships and experience in product-line transitions complement Ontic’s existing expertise. He added that the acquisition will provide Aero-Mach with greater investment, scale and global reach to support its growth.
Jeff Carnley, CEO of Aero-Mach, said joining Ontic would allow the company to invest further in its capabilities while maintaining its focus on quality, technical expertise and long-term customer support.
The acquisition also expands Ontic’s US footprint through the addition of Aero-Mach’s Wichita facility and existing workforce, taking Ontic’s global site count to 11 locations.
For Aero-Mach customers, the company said operations will continue with the existing team and established levels of service and support, while gaining access to Ontic’s wider global resources and aerospace expertise.
The acquisition strengthens Ontic’s position in the aerospace aftermarket by adding established manufacturing, repair, distribution, and aircraft component capabilities to its global platform.
