TransNusa adopts Skywise Core X2 and fleet performance

Indonesian airline TransNusa has signed an agreement with Skywise to implement Skywise Core X2 and Skywise Fleet Performance+ (S.FP+), connecting flight operations and technical operations through a unified digital platform.

The agreement marks the first adoption of both solutions in Indonesia. TransNusa already uses Skywise applications for flight planning, electronic flight documentation, and navigation charts.

Skywise Core X2 will provide a data platform to integrate operational workflows and develop custom applications using low-code and no-code tools. The system is intended to support coordination between flight operations, maintenance, and other airline functions.

Fleet Performance+ will focus on technical operations and aircraft health monitoring. Using aircraft data collected during flights alongside maintenance information, the platform will give TransNusa’s Maintenance Control Centre real-time visibility into aircraft system status.

The system is designed to help maintenance teams identify anomalies, track technical trends, and make maintenance decisions based on aircraft data. TransNusa expects the integration to support fleet reliability and availability while reducing reliance on spreadsheet-based reporting.

“By bridging the gap between Flight Operations and Technical Operations, this ecosystem breaks down traditional silos and equips TransNusa with a single, actionable source of truth. We are thrilled to support TransNusa in this journey, and we deeply value their trust as this seamless integration not only maximises fleet reliability today, but establishes the digital future of the airline,” stated Alessandro Luzi, Head of Region APAC at Skywise.

“This partnership between TransNusa and Skywise is the way forward and is consistent with our pledge to offer safe and comfortable travel with excellent flying experiences to our passengers,” said Datuk Bernand Francis, Group Chief Executive Officer of TransNusa.

Francis added that access to real-time aircraft data would let the airline plan maintenance earlier, helping reduce aircraft ground time and flight delays.

The agreement expands TransNusa’s use of digital tools for aircraft monitoring and maintenance coordination, with the aim of improving operational visibility and supporting more proactive maintenance decisions.
