ST Engineering secures CFM56-7B PRSV agreement with Hebei Airlines

ST Engineering has signed a two-year exclusive agreement with Hebei Airlines to provide Performance Restoration Shop Visit (PRSV) services for the carrier’s CFM56-7B engines.

The programme starts in September 2026 and covers 14 engines installed on Hebei Airlines’ Boeing 737-800 fleet. The engine work will be carried out at ST Engineering’s aerospace facility in Xiamen, China.

Yang Jun, Deputy General Manager of Hebei Airlines, said, “We appreciate the steadfast support ST Engineering has provided to Hebei Airlines in operations and maintenance over the years. Their professional expertise and proven excellence in engine heavy maintenance have earned our utmost confidence and respect.”

“Built on mutual trust and technical excellence, this programme marks the beginning of a new chapter of closer collaboration, innovation and shared success. As we begin this 14-engine maintenance programme, we look forward to deepening our technical collaboration and strengthening our partnership with ST Engineering. With their extensive repair capabilities and comprehensive MRO expertise, we are confident in achieving outstanding repair quality while optimising turnaround times,” Jun added.

The Xiamen facility provides engine and nacelle MRO services and has established capabilities for the CFM56-7B and CFM56-5B engine families.

PRSV work is carried out to restore engine performance and address deterioration accumulated during service, helping extend engine operating life and maintain performance between major maintenance events.

Eng Guan Tay, SVP and Head of Engine Services at ST Engineering, said, “Our longstanding partnership with Hebei Airlines reflects the strong trust that Chinese airlines and operators place in ST Engineering to help enhance engine performance and lifecycle value.”
