Royal Brunei Airlines has signed two 12-year agreements with Collins Aerospace to support its current and future Boeing 787 fleet through the company’s FlightSense and Dispatch services.
The long-term contracts will provide component and avionics maintenance support across several aircraft systems, including avionics, cargo, electrical power, environmental control and lighting. The services are designed to improve fleet reliability, reduce downtime and support more predictable maintenance costs.
Under the agreements, Collins Aerospace will provide predictive and reliability-based maintenance for the airline’s avionics systems, along with asset and logistics support. Royal Brunei will also have access to certified spare and repaired components through Collins’ global support network.
FlightSense and Dispatch use a fixed-rate service model that provides guaranteed component availability while helping operators manage maintenance requirements and fleet operating costs.

FlightSense is a full-lifecycle maintenance programme supported by Collins’ Ascentia analytics platform. The platform analyses aircraft data to identify performance trends, recommend maintenance actions and provide insights to support fleet operations.
For Royal Brunei Airlines, the agreement will support the continued operation of its Boeing 787 fleet as the carrier focuses on fleet availability and operational efficiency.
Collins Aerospace said the combination of FlightSense’s connected data capabilities and Dispatch’s proactive avionics maintenance support will provide Royal Brunei with predictive maintenance capabilities and global technical support throughout the contract period.
