Honeywell is offering eligible operators a DU-875 LCD upgrade at no additional cost through a three-year MSP-Avionics enrollment.
Honeywell is offering an extended DU-875 program that allows eligible operators to replace failed DU-870 CRT displays with DU-875 LCDs without paying the additional cost normally associated with the upgrade.
The program is available to both new and existing MSP-Avionics customers. Existing customers must add the benefit to their current coverage agreement through an addendum and remain enrolled in MSP-Avionics for at least three years.
Under the arrangement, an eligible DU-870 failure can result in an unlike exchange to a DU-875 LCD. The program provides an upgrade path from the older CRT technology while helping operators manage display replacement costs and avionics obsolescence.
The program does not cover pre-existing DU-870 failures, and operators are responsible for confirming aircraft and part-number eligibility as well as obtaining and funding any required supplemental type certificate (STC).
The DU-875 unlike exchanges are currently available through June 30, 2029. Eligible DU-875 variants include K9321060A04, K9321060A12, K9321060A13, K9321060A14, K9321062A11 and K9321062A12. The K9321062A01 variant is excluded because it is no longer produced and has no established exchange history.

West Star Aviation, a Honeywell MSP-Avionics dealer, is supporting operators with programme enrollment, coverage reviews, part-number applicability, STC planning, and repair or exchange coordination.
The programme is aimed at reducing the maintenance impact of DU-870 failures while providing operators with a defined transition from CRT to LCD technology.
