Mint Turbines has been named a Pratt & Whitney Canada Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF), expanding the Oklahoma-based MRO provider’s OEM authorizations and strengthening its capabilities for turbine engine maintenance and overhaul.
Based in Stroud, Oklahoma, Mint Turbines is now authorized to perform Pratt & Whitney Canada-approved overhaul services for PT6A and PT6T series engines. The designation requires the facility to meet the manufacturer’s standards for quality systems, technical capability, and regulatory compliance.
The new authorization gives operators access to OEM-approved overhaul services, alongside Mint Turbines’ customer support and field service capabilities. The company provides 24/7 customer support and can deploy technical expertise to operators in the field.
Rob Ruck, President and Chief Operating Officer of M International, the parent company of Mint Turbines, said the designation follows years of investment in personnel, systems and technical capabilities.

The Pratt & Whitney Canada authorization adds to Mint Turbines’ existing portfolio of OEM relationships. These include General Electric and Ozark Aeroworks, while sister company Airborne Engines in Canada holds Rolls-Royce authorization.
Mint Turbines said the expanded portfolio provides operators across government, commercial and specialty aviation with broader access to certified engine support. The Pratt & Whitney Canada DOF designation also provides access to OEM-sponsored programmes and resources.
For more than 45 years, Mint Turbines has provided turbine engine maintenance services, with the latest designation marking an expansion of its authorized capabilities across the engine MRO sector.
