GA Telesis expands composite repair operations

GA Telesis is expanding its composite repair operations with investments in new equipment, additional personnel, and expanded repair capabilities for current and next-generation narrowbody and widebody aircraft.

The expansion is being carried out through the company’s MRO Services Group and is intended to increase its capacity for composite aerostructure repairs while improving production flow and turnaround times.

The upgraded operation will support a range of composite structures, including nacelles, flight control surfaces, radomes, fairings and other composite assemblies.

The investment also includes the introduction of additional repair technologies and expanded technical capabilities to support newer aircraft platforms. GA Telesis is also increasing employee development and technical training as part of the expansion.

Pastor Lopez, President of MRO Services at GA Telesis, said, “As aircraft technologies continue to evolve, so must our capabilities. This expansion is a strategic investment in the future of our composite business. It enables us to introduce new repair technologies, optimize production flow, and continue delivering the high-quality workmanship, responsiveness, and reliability our customers have come to expect.”

The expanded composite repair operation is designed to provide greater flexibility across different types of aerostructures while supporting the maintenance requirements of both existing and next-generation aircraft.
