AI Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) has inaugurated its new Central Procurement Cell at the Avionics Complex in Delhi, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to strengthen procurement processes and improve operational efficiency across its nationwide maintenance network.
The newly established facility is expected to serve as a centralized procurement hub, enabling AIESL to streamline purchasing activities, improve coordination, and standardize procurement operations across its various maintenance locations.
The Central Procurement Cell was inaugurated by Amit Kumar, CMD of AI Assets Holding Limited (AIAHL) and Chairman of AIESL, in the presence of Sharad Agarwal, CEO of AIESL, along with senior leadership and employees of the organization.
Strengthening procurement and supply chain
As one of India’s largest MRO organizations, AIESL manages maintenance support for a wide range of aircraft and engines, making efficient procurement and supply chain management critical to operational performance.
The creation of a centralized procurement structure is expected to improve visibility across sourcing activities, optimize vendor management, reduce procurement cycle times, and enhance the availability of critical aircraft parts, materials, and services required for maintenance operations.
