G5 Holding has appointed aerospace industry veteran Marco Tulio Pellegrini as Head of its Aerospace Cluster, bringing more than four decades of experience across aircraft development, industrial operations, manufacturing and MRO.
Pellegrini’s appointment is aimed at strengthening the Group’s executive and industrial capabilities as it continues to develop its aerospace business and expand its presence across regional and international markets.
With more than 40 years of aerospace experience, Pellegrini has worked across the aircraft programme lifecycle, covering market assessment, business planning, engineering, development, manufacturing and production, aircraft delivery and customer support.
Pellegrini spent a significant part of his career at Embraer, where he held senior leadership and executive positions and contributed to the development of 18 aircraft types across commercial, executive and defence aviation programmes.
His areas of expertise include programme and industrial operations, manufacturing facilities and assembly lines, industrial capacity planning, productivity improvement, supply chain management, industrial automation and lean manufacturing.
He has also led international industrial projects and facility development initiatives across Brazil, the United States, Portugal and China.
At Embraer, Pellegrini served as President and Chief Executive Officer of its Executive Aviation business before taking on the role of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OGMA, Portugal.
During his tenure at OGMA, Pellegrini was responsible for a business covering aircraft, engine and component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), alongside airframe manufacturing activities.
His career has also included leadership responsibilities within aerospace joint ventures. These included ECTS, which specialises in pilot and technician training, as well as an Embraer-AVIC joint venture in China.
Pellegrini holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and completed specialised professional training with McDonnell Douglas in the United States earlier in his career.
