Heartwood Partners has made a growth investment in The Xtreme Group (TXG), a Miami-based independent aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider, in partnership with the company’s existing management team.
The investment, completed on May 29, 2026, will support TXG’s plans to expand its MRO capabilities, geographic presence, and service capacity while maintaining its current management structure.
TXG operates a full-service aviation MRO platform serving primarily cargo and commercial operators. Its capabilities include airframe heavy maintenance, engine MRO, line maintenance, and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support, along with aircraft and engine sales and leasing.
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, the company also operates line maintenance stations at major airports across the United States. Its MRO services are focused on supporting operators with maintenance and operational requirements across multiple aircraft and asset categories.

Heartwood Partners said its investment approach will support TXG’s expansion into new geographic markets, additional service lines and increased maintenance capacity. The private investment firm also identified opportunities for growth through organic expansion and strategic add-on acquisitions.
TXG was founded in 2013 by Carlos Cock, who will continue to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer following the investment.
Cock said the partnership will provide TXG with resources to expand its capacity, broaden its service portfolio and extend its geographic reach while maintaining its focus on service quality, safety and customer relationships.
The investment adds to Heartwood Partners’ focus on founder-led businesses and provides TXG with additional resources to pursue growth opportunities across the aviation MRO market.
