BOC Aviation leases two new A320neo aircraft to AirSial for 2028 delivery

BOC Aviation has signed an operating lease agreement with Pakistan’s AirSial Limited for two new Airbus A320neo aircraft, further supporting the airline’s fleet expansion plans.

The agreement was formalised during a signing ceremony at BOC Aviation’s headquarters in Singapore. Both aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2028 and will be powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines.

The signing ceremony was attended by BOC Aviation CEO and Managing Director Steven Townend, Michael-John Burke, Head of Airline Leasing and Sales for Asia Pacific and the Middle East (APME), and Alban Cruiziat, Executive Vice President of Airline Leasing and Sales, APME.

Representing AirSial were Chairman Fazal Jilani, CEO Ameen Ahsan and COO Tariq Amin.

Commenting on the agreement, Michael-John Burke said the lease represents more than the addition of new aircraft to AirSial’s fleet, reflecting the airline’s long-term growth ambitions and confidence in Pakistan’s aviation market.

He added that the agreement also underscores the strong relationship developed between the two companies and supports AirSial’s plans to expand its operations with modern, fuel-efficient aircraft.
