Will CAMO agreements save the day for lessors post COVID-19?

Magnetic MRO and BOC Aviation have signed a Continuing Airworthiness Management contract for re-positioning and maintenance of asset airworthiness post coronavirus pandemic
After the agreement the BOC has delivered B737NG aircraft to Magnetic MRO's hangars.

28 August 2020: Magnetic MRO and BOC Aviation have signed a Continuing Airworthiness Management contract for re-positioning and maintenance of asset airworthiness post coronavirus pandemic. The contract also includes planning of ferry flight, de-registration & registration of aircraft, issuance of work packs and providing maintenance services during the period when aircraft is positioned in Tallinn Airport. After the agreement the BOC has delivered B737NG aircraft to Magnetic MRO hangars.

The global pandemic, shutting of International borders for air travel led to many airlines going bankrupt or limit their fleet size. Due to this the lessors faced a major problem of asset management. Due to this the re-positioning and maintenance of asset airworthiness became the need of the hour.
