WFS anticipates managing 2,000 tonnes of cargo annually in Milan Malpensa for SWISS’s airfreight division. Moreover, SWISS operates 28 weekly flights to Milan using narrowbody Airbus A320/321 and Embraer aircraft. Additionally, Swiss WorldCargo customers will continue to benefit from road feeder services. Furthermore, These services connect Milan and Zurich six days a week.

The quality of Swiss WorldCargo’s products and services is highly respected across the industry, and we value the airfreight division’s confidence in our ability to meet these high standards. In support of our service offering, as well as investing in our warehouse terminal, we have implemented digitalised processes in our warehouse and will be adding extra equipment to enhance our ULD (United Load Devices) and Pharma Handling capabilities.”

Swiss WorldCargo has been a longstanding client of WFS across its global network. Moreover, WFS provides cargo handling services at key stations in North and South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. Furthermore, The decision to appoint WFS for Milan Malpensa was based on WFS’s modern facilities and operational scale. Additionally, WFS’s ability to handle high-value, care-intensive, and temperature-sensitive shipments was crucial to this decision.
