Werner Aero acquired two Airbus A320-200 airframes in August, further expanding its A320-family aircraft asset and teardown portfolio.
The acquired aircraft include MSN 3383, currently located at Ascent’s facility in Tucson, Arizona, and MSN 2964, which is at ecube’s facility in St Athan, Wales.
MSN 2964 is scheduled for dismantling, with serviceable components and materials to be recovered and made available to airlines, lessors, MRO providers and other aviation customers. MSN 3383 will also be added to Werner Aero’s aircraft asset and teardown portfolio.

The acquisitions strengthen Werner Aero’s inventory of A320-family components and aftermarket materials as global demand continues for parts supporting the widely operated aircraft type.
Tony Kondo, President and CEO of Werner Aero, said the additions will enhance the company’s ability to supply customers with quality components while providing responsive aftermarket support.
