Vietjet and Lufthansa Technik’s new TCS agreement ensures extensive component support for 193 aircraft, starting October 2024.

Vietjet, the innovative airline based in Vietnam, has signed an exclusive Total Component Support (TCS) agreement with Lufthansa Technik. This agreement was formalized at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom. It marks a significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between the two companies.

Johanna Koch, Vice President Corporate Sales Southeast Asia and Indian Subcontinent at Lufthansa Technik, said, “We are thrilled to expand our collaboration with Vietjet through this significant TCS agreement. Under this comprehensive multi-year agreement, 184 Airbus A320 family and 9 Airbus A330 aircraft will receive extensive component services. These services are designed to support Vietjet’s expanding fleet, ensuring operational excellence and top maintenance standards. Consequently, the agreement will take effect starting October 2024.

Vietjet, as Lufthansa Technik’s first AVIATAR Technical Logbook customer in Asia Pacific, highlights their innovative collaboration. This new agreement is the largest Total Component Support contract Lufthansa Technik has secured in Southeast Asia. It reflects the strengthening partnership between the two companies. Consequently, Lufthansa Technik’s support will ensure Vietjet’s fleet operates with maximum efficiency and safety. This, in turn, reinforces Vietjet’s position as a leading airline in the region.
