VAS Aero Services and SR Technics have extended their supply program agreement focused on the Pratt & Whitney PW4000-100” engine maintenance operations including lower ownership costs through the availability of used serviceable materials.

VAS Aero Services and SR Technics have announced an extension of their supply program agreement focused on the Pratt & Whitney PW4000-100” engine maintenance operations. This move strengthens the existing close relationship between the two leaders in aviation aftermarket services and reinforces their commitment to delivering high-quality engines and materials to the industry. The extended supply program agreement between VAS Aero Services and SR Technics reflects a shared commitment to excellence, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in the aviation aftermarket services sector.

The extended agreement builds upon the innovative supply program that was previously established, allowing SR Technics, a Switzerland-based MRO service provider, to offer top-notch maintenance services on PW4000-100” engines to its airline customers. This program also includes lower ownership costs through the availability of used serviceable materials. The comprehensive agreement involves VAS Aero Services positioning engines at SR Technics’ facilities for teardown and whole asset leasing, ensuring efficient operations and cost-effective solutions.

“The extension of this agreement confirms the value both companies create by working together to improve PW4000-100” maintenance and supply for the benefit of aircraft owners and operators around the globe. We are delighted to expand our long-standing relationship with VAS,” said Fritz Beiner, SVP Procurement, SR Technics.

The cooperative arrangement guarantees spare engine availability to SR Technics’ customers during maintenance periods, along with a minimum stock level of serviceable spare parts. This not only reduces material costs but also enables quick turnaround services for SR Technics’ clients, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

“VAS has enjoyed a close aftermarket material supply relationship with SR Technics for nearly 15 years, and we are excited to take this program to the next level,” says Tommy Hughes, CEO, VAS. “We continue to invest heavily in assets, such as A330 aircraft being retired by American Airlines, to support this valuable partnership. The result is a unique working relationship that permits us to anticipate SR Technics’ needs and respond quickly to market demands,” he further added.
