Vallair’s expertise lies in intelligent repair management, coupled with an integrated supply chain and a global network of audited MRO facilities, offering a streamlined service to its clients. The company’s AFRA accredited facilities have pioneered sustainable scrapping and recycling processes as part of their comprehensive teardown management package. Vallair’s dedicated technical support teams oversee the repair and overhaul of components, aiming to minimize costs and expedite the return to service of critical parts.

Armando Filho, Material Management Director, Vallair said, “We work closely with SETNA iO, fostering a mutually sustainable business relationship. Vallair handles high volumes of aircraft parts each month, collaborating with our in-house aerostructures repair shop based in Châteauroux. Our team will inspect and/or repair the nacelles, and we have also repurchased the thrust reversers from MSN2372 to be repaired and added to Vallair’s own stock.”

Looking ahead, Vallair has additional narrowbody aircraft earmarked for teardown in 2023. Furthermore, to complement its newly acquired A330 widebody MRO capabilities in Châteauroux, the company is currently evaluating the potential for widebody teardowns to expand its offerings.

David Chaimovitz, CEO, SETNA iO said, “Our core business revolves around providing rotable spares for commercial, regional, and business aircraft, offering exchange, loan, or purchase options. We have been conducting parts transactions with Vallair for several years, and for the past two years, we have been working closely with their specialist team to manage various repairs, particularly for key components like nacelles. This significant influx of high-quality A320 stock will greatly enhance the availability of USM (Used Serviceable Material) for these essential parts across our global stock hubs.”
