Vallair appoints Valentina Pilshchikova as Director of Asset Trading

Vallair has appointed Valentina Pilshchikova as Director of Asset Trading, strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its aircraft and engine asset trading activities.

In her new role, Pilshchikova will oversee Vallair’s trading operations for both aircraft and engine assets. She will focus on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with customers and industry partners, pursuing asset acquisition and sales opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for customers.

Pilshchikova joined Vallair in 2018 as a Purchasing Administrative Officer and has progressed through a series of commercial and technical roles, including Material Sales & Market Analyst and Engine & Parts Trading Sales Manager. With more than 15 years of international commercial experience and over seven years in the aviation industry, she brings a combination of engineering expertise and market knowledge to the position.

“I enjoy solving problems, finding practical solutions and creating value for everyone involved,” said Pilshchikova. “Each role at Vallair has helped me grow professionally, build a deeper understanding of the aviation business and prepare me for this new challenge.”

Vallair’s Asset Trading division works with airlines, lessors, traders, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers, and other aviation stakeholders, supporting the acquisition, sale and management of aircraft and engine assets.

Pascal Parant, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at Vallair Group, said Pilshchikova’s blend of technical expertise and commercial understanding makes her well suited to lead the business.

“At Vallair, we understand that every customer has different needs,” Parant said. “Valentina has a special combination of technical and commercial awareness, and she is ideally placed to help airlines maximise the value of their assets and provide flexible solutions that support their operations.”

He added that the company will continue to support lessors, asset owners, traders and MRO providers by combining technical expertise with market insight to maximise asset value while building long-term partnerships across the aviation industry.

Commenting on her appointment, Pilshchikova emphasised the importance of trust and collaboration in the aviation business.

“I believe that people do business with people they trust. Building strong relationships has always been the most rewarding part of my job. I try to be open, reliable and solution-oriented, and I believe that when you keep your word and work towards a common goal, success follows naturally,” she said.

The appointment reflects Vallair’s continued investment in its asset trading capabilities as demand grows for flexible aircraft and engine asset management solutions across the global aviation aftermarket.
