TrueNoord has delivered an Embraer E195LR to Air Montenegro under a five-year operating lease, supporting the flag carrier’s fleet expansion and regional network growth as it strengthens connectivity across Europe.
The aircraft, MSN 19000471, was delivered in late July and has already entered service on intra-European routes from the airline’s base in Podgorica, adding capacity as demand for regional travel continues to grow.
Fleet flexibility for regional growth
The addition of the E195LR provides Air Montenegro with a right-sized aircraft for short- and medium-haul operations, allowing the carrier to expand frequencies and develop new routes without the higher operating costs associated with larger aircraft.
The lease also reflects the growing role of operating leases in helping regional airlines increase capacity while maintaining financial and operational flexibility.
Commenting on the delivery, Michael Adams, Sales Director Europe and Executive Director of TrueNoord Services Ireland, said the aircraft is well suited to Air Montenegro’s operational requirements and long-term ambitions.
He noted that the E195LR’s combination of efficiency and flexibility makes it an effective platform for regional operators looking to strengthen connectivity and optimise route networks.

Vukadin Stojanovic, CEO of Air Montenegro, described TrueNoord as a long-term partner that will support the airline’s regional growth plans, adding that the aircraft provides the capacity and operational flexibility needed to further strengthen the carrier’s network.
According to TrueNoord, the agreement highlights its strategy of providing tailored aircraft leasing solutions that enable regional airlines to expand sustainably while responding to changing market demand.
Beyond fleet growth, the delivery adds another Embraer E195LR to Europe’s regional aviation market, contributing to continued demand for line maintenance, component support, engine maintenance and technical services throughout the aircraft’s lease period. As regional carriers increasingly rely on leased aircraft to manage capacity, long-term operating leases continue to play an important role in supporting fleet availability, maintenance planning and lifecycle management across the aftermarket ecosystem.
