Transavia France Embarks on A320neo with Strong support from AFI KLM E&M.

AFI KLM E&M and Transavia France have signed a new contract for A320neo component support, extending their long-standing cooperation.

AFI KLM E&M and Transavia France signed an agreement for the first A320neo aircraft to be delivered as part of a significant fleet replacement initiative. Through the signing of a specially created Component Support programme,Transavia France, the French low-cost airline has chosen, AFI KLM E&M which has been supporting its Boeing 737 Components for a number of years, to provide flight readiness and operational launch support for this new generation narrow-body aircraft.

AFI KLM E&M has assembled a service package that includes pool access, repair services, and the delivery of a Main Base Kit (MBK). Beyond Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), these services will cover a wider range of essential parts, including batteries, oxygen systems, wheels and tyres. The full fleet of A320neos operated by Transavia France will be covered by the support.

The proximity between our facilities and the AFI KLM E&M component workshops in Paris provides a further degree of reassurance and responsiveness and is a considerable bonus for our airline.”

Over the years, through a variety of partnerships, AFI KLM E&M and Transavia France have established a unique working relationship. With the A320neo, a product for which AFI KLM E&M has extensive knowledge and expertise, this highly fruitful partnership is now being expanded to include the A320neo. By leveraging its A320 experience as an Airline-MRO and by offering A320neo support services for numerous operators worldwide, including major airlines like IndiGo, AFI KLM E&M has developed a range of services built upon a solid foundation of operational and technical proficiency.

In addition, the French airline will benefit from simplified order processing and streamlined maintenance management, via the establishment of an interconnection between its operating systems and the AFI KLM E&M information system via the Aeroxchange platform.
