TP Aerospace expands wheels and brakes support for Parata Air’s growing fleet

TP Aerospace has expanded its partnership with South Korean airline Parata Air to provide comprehensive wheels and brakes support as the carrier accelerates its fleet and network expansion.

The partnership, which began in 2025, initially supported a fleet of two aircraft. It has since expanded to cover Parata Air’s current fleet of five Airbus aircraft, comprising two A320s and three A330s.

TP Aerospace is providing the airline with wheels and brakes support through its Land For Less (LFL) program, covering Airbus A320 wheels and brakes and Airbus A330 brakes. The support package includes component exchange services, pool access, on-site inventory and 24/7 aircraft-on-ground (AOG) assistance.

The program has been scaled alongside Parata Air’s fleet growth, with TP Aerospace’s Asia-Pacific team supported by the company’s global supply chain. According to the company, the arrangement is designed to improve component availability, provide greater cost predictability and simplify wheels and brakes management for the growing carrier.

“We are proud to support Parata Air as the airline continues to expand its fleet and operations,” said Philip Broskov Hansen, Vice President, Global Program Sales, TP Aerospace.  He added that the partnership demonstrates TP Aerospace’s ability to provide scalable component support across both narrowbody and widebody Airbus platforms.

Parata Air is also planning further network expansion, including potential services to the US West Coast. TP Aerospace said its workshop in Las Vegas will enable it to provide local wheels and brakes support for the airline as it expands into North America, while continuing to draw on its global supply network.

“As important as expanding our fleet is, it is equally important to ensure that we have the maintenance and parts support infrastructure in place to operate our growing fleet safely and reliably,” said Lee Kang-hyun, Head of Maintenance, Parata Air.

He said partnerships with global aviation specialists would help the airline prepare for further fleet and route expansion while strengthening the foundation for safe and stable operations.

The expanded agreement also strengthens TP Aerospace’s presence in the Asia-Pacific aftermarket, where airlines are experiencing continued fleet and network growth. The company said its global workshop and supply-chain network, including facilities in Asia-Pacific and Las Vegas, will enable it to support Parata Air as its operational requirements evolve.

For the MRO sector, the partnership highlights the growing importance of scalable component support models for airlines expanding their fleets. Wheels and brakes are critical rotable components, and access to exchange pools, local inventory and AOG support can help airlines reduce aircraft downtime while avoiding the complexity and capital requirements associated with managing larger component inventories internally.

As Parata Air adds aircraft and expands its network, the ability to support both A320 narrowbody and A330 widebody fleets under a single component-support program is expected to become increasingly important to its maintenance strategy.
