Thrive Aviation is launching a fractional aircraft ownership programme in partnership with Arulean Air, a subsidiary of Honda Aircraft Company, with the first aircraft already delivered for the programme.
The programme will initially operate the HondaJet HA-420 in the light jet category and the Bombardier Challenger 3500 in the super-midsize category. Thrive will manage the programme, including client relationships and flight operations, while Arulean Air will acquire aircraft for the fleet.
Thrive has received the first two aircraft and plans to add approximately four to six HondaJet HA-420s and two to four Challenger 3500s each year as the programme expands.
The programme will use Thrive’s existing operating platform and fleet of more than 30 aircraft. Thrive’s existing services include on-demand charter, aircraft management, jet card memberships and aircraft maintenance.

Curtis Edenfield, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Thrive Aviation, said, “Adding fractional ownership opportunities enables Thrive Aviation to serve a broad spectrum of clients throughout their entire private aviation journey – from private charters to fractional ownership to full ownership. We’re building another major piece of the Thrive platform and something we expect to scale for a long time. The goal is simple: as our clients’ aviation needs evolve, we want to evolve with them.”
The expansion will also increase requirements for aircraft maintenance, inspections, component support and other aftermarket services as the fractional fleet grows. Thrive’s existing maintenance capabilities will form part of the broader operating platform supporting the new aircraft.
Edenfield later added, “This long-term, first-of-its-kind partnership with Arulean Air gives Thrive Aviation the foundation to build this program at scale. We’re building for the long term, and having a partner like Arulean Air with a shared vision gives us the ability to grow the program for years to come.”

The HondaJet HA-420 and Challenger 3500 will provide different aircraft capabilities within the programme, allowing owners to use the appropriate aircraft based on mission requirements. The fleet is expected to expand as the number of fractional owners increases.
Thrive plans to provide further details of the programme at NBAA-BACE 2026, scheduled for October 20–22 in Las Vegas.
