Textron expands the apprenticeship program to address the production & tooling requirements of skilled labor

The robust two-year program will run from August 2022 to August 2024.
The program includes factory training at Textron Aviation facilities and classroom training through WSU Tech for a well-rounded learning experience.

The arrangement is a collaboration between Textron Aviation, WSU Tech, and the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers.

To meet the shortage of skilled AMEs Textron Aviation is growing its apprenticeship opportunities with an Avionics Technician Apprenticeship and a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining Apprenticeship. The robust two-year program will run from August 2022 to August 2024 and includes factory training at Textron Aviation facilities and classroom training through WSU Tech for a well-rounded learning experience. As Textron Aviation employees, program participants will earn a full-time salary and benefits, and the company will also cover related tuition and fees at WSU Tech.
